What a fantastic turnout from group members on what was a horrible, cold and wet morning. As always, we had fabulous support from Drive Vauxhall – providing a perfect meeting and start point, as well as very well received tea, coffee and bacon rolls to warm up those braving the elements on their bikes!
We were also pleased to welcome Debbie from Asda Fosse Park. A huge thank you to her and Asda for the wonderful donation of Easter Eggs for this year’s charity; The Carpenters Arms. Thanks too to Andy Bryant for arranging for Sam Bailey to drop in to say hello and lend her support to our group. She was great fun, entering into the spirit of the day and i am sure a potential new member, with the way she handled the BMW!!
Once all the photos and interviews with Radio Leicester were completed the team headed off on a ride out up to the old Durham Ox pub, which is the Carpenters Arms latest addition to their residential rehabilitation facilities. The eggs will be shared with both the residents and included in food parcels that they will be distributing this Easter.
