An Evening to Celebrate!

The Lord Lieutenant Presenting the Queen’s Award For Voluntary Service

What a memorable evening for our group. Having been awarded the prestigious Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service in June of this year, we were very pleased to welcome the Lord Lieutenant and Deputy Lord Lieutenant to our annual general meeting on the 28th October to make the formal presentation. It was without doubt, an incredibly humbling moment, after many years of hard work by all of the committee and volunteers to build a strong charity, which supports our regions NHS hospitals and air ambulance.
